One thing I noticed lately is that Rebelle, apart from the totally horrendous price gauging, have sneakily increased their fees, if you used to sell something for 80, you used to get 50 as revenue, now you are getting 46. Additionally they are trying to sell you insured postage, despite claiming that the postage is covered by them.
Vestiaire at least covers the insurance as well, from the moment an item is scanned, it will be insured, now Rebelle increases their percentage, pays out even later, has software bugs... I think they are definitely going downhill.
Rebelle has also started to outsource the preparation of pictures, as a result, if the outsourced company is not in the mood, they get rejected. Now nobody will just sell on Rebelle, so if you are listing on several pages, you notice the difference.
Not only has their service totally gone down the drain, they are also trying to sit on your money as long as possible, usually the pay out was the week after it was sent out, now they send it out, wait for ages until they send you an email that the item has been sent to the buyer.
As for the software, depending which browser you use, you can't even download the label, often the search function doesn't work (great if you are trying to buy or sell an item), if you ask them you get the usual "We are working on it" - seriously, months and months?
They still claim that they are a start up, after over 5 years? Oh and they dictate you the prices and then expect a bunch of time wasters making you ridiculous price offers, which of course they never follow through, even if you should decide to accept the ridiculous terms. The staff seems to be genuinely uninterested.
It went from my fave site to buy and sell designer items to the least favorite.
